History of the Trocars
The group officially started in 1998 when founding members Ron and Chris began the group after Ron purchased his 1993 Harley-Davidson(r) Heritage Softail Classic. From that point on, the group grew to a select few who would go on rides at any chance they got. Today, Trocars has expanded our membership to more than 30 members in Oregon, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Texas, Kentucky, and Ohio. Most recently, we now have expanded into New Jersey and Iowa. Local Illinois membership is now extended to riders who are not in the funeral industry. A non-funeral service professional can enter the group as long as he is vouched for by a current member.
Riding Nationwide
Thanks to nationwide exposure from “The Director” magazine, interest in Trocars has grown tremendously. We meet during riding season; for a weekly dinner ride. We also enjoy getting together for a spring meeting, bike blessing / BBQ and a family Christmas party. We participate in limited charitable events within Illinois and invite you to contact us regarding your event.
